Since 1992 Steve has spent his time perfecting his skills and increasing his knowledge base to ensure that Professional Auctioneer means all that it entails. He is a past KY State Champion Auctioneer, and has completed the courses and certification to hold the highest designation awarded in the Auctioneering Profession. Steve is a graduate of the Certified Auction Institute - CAI from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, a Certified Estate Specialist, Benefit Auction Specialist, and graduate of the Professional Ringman's Institute. His training and communication skills, in addition to his love of teaching and guiding others make him an excellent instructor and position his students to fulfill their auction education goals.

Steve is a past president of the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Auctioneers Association and is continually improving his own skills and knowledge to make certain his students are aware of the growing trends and statistcs concerning the auction business. Well informed and educated auctioneers poise themselves for success.

Steve Henry utilizes his organization and follow-thru skills to make certain that all details are up-to-date and all courses follow the strict regimens and guidelines required to comply with the various state regulations. Steve is a skilled auctioneer and brings a vast array of auction experience to the students of Kentucky Auction Academy.

Steve is also a graduate of the Professional Ringman's Institute and a Certified Personal Property Appraiser which requires extensive training and class hours. He guides the students of Kentucky Auction Academy through the various steps and stages of course completion.

Steve loves to ride and work horses in his spare time and is known by those close to him as “Capt’n Henry”.

Mr. Harb is the founder and CEO of IT Risk Managers, Inc. and the creator of the Auctioneer Insurance Program, designed by auctioneers, for auctioneers. He is a licensed Auctioneer.

Started at the beginning of the century, IT Risk Managers, Inc. is a national niche insurance wholesaler that provides risk management solutions for companies that are in the technology business or that use technology and is one of the industry’s premier brokers of Internet & Technology (Cyber) Insurance.

In addition to the Auctioneer Insurance Program, IT Risk Managers, Inc. is also the program manager for the Database Insurance. IT Risk Managers is licensed in 48 states to market all types of Property and Casualty insurance products.

Mr. Harb has over 25 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industries. During his career he has also served as guest lecturer at Michigan State University and as an adjunct instructor Illinois Institute of Technology.

Mr. Harb holds a Masters of Management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelors degree from Northern Illinois University. He co-authored the book Reinventing the Retail Bank published in 1994. He is a certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist and has written numerous articles and is a frequent guest speaker at industry conferences.

Since 1992 Tim has spent countless hours in the field with real-life auction experience and brings those years of hard work and first class auction presentation to the classroom. Tim is a CAI, Certified Estate Specialist a graduate of the Professional Ringman's Institute and a KY Bid Calling Champion. Tim brings his skills of personal relationships and time managed auctions to his students to ensure they develop those tools early in their career. This ensures success from the beginning and builds year after year.

Tim believes in continuing to build on the education foundation he began and is repeatedly in the classroom himself to bring the latest technology, methods, and ideas to the student auctioneers.

Tim also enjoys managing registered cattle performance auctions and is heavily involved in backgrounding cattle at his farm in Logan County, KY.

Joe Gribbins is a third generation auctioneer and a real estate broker. He has conducted numerous seminars for the Kentucky Board of Auctioneers, as well as seminars for other state licensing boards and associations. As a special projects consultant for the Kentucky Board of Auctioneers he updated the Kentucky licensure examinations, study guides and compiled the “The Kentucky Sales and Use Tax Guide for Auctioneers”. Joe is a Kentucky Auctioneers Association past president and Hall of Fame member.

Neal Davis is an International & World Champion Auctioneer.
In 1984, Davis won the first Arkansas Auctioneers' Association Bid Calling Contest. After being named runner-up at the NAA Convention in 1989, he won the NAA International Auctioneer Championship in 1990. In 1996, he won the World Champion Automobile Contest in his home state of Missouri.

Neal holds Arkansas Auctioneers' License #1 and was instrumental in getting many of the auction laws established in the state of Arkansas. He is a member of the Arkansas Auctioneers' Association, and the Arkansas Auctioneers' Hall of Fame. Davis has spent many years developing a successful chant and has taught hundreds of students across the nation how to develop and structure their chant.

Neal is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker and the owner of the Neal Davis Auction and Realty Company of Beebe, Arkansas; Mr. Davis' company specializes in Real Estate, Estates, and Automobile Auctions.

Neal Davis will share with Kentucky Auction Academy students proven skills and techniques learned through years of professional experience.

Since 1982 Ron has been involved in many areas of auctioneering - automobile auctions, oil field and construction equipment, heavy duty trucks, Biofuel facilities, each category having related and many times very unique support equipment to be sold. Ron's depth for detail with clients and customers aligns with his high standards of fairness when facilitating the buying and selling process.

He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and/or Principal Auctioneer in over 17 states and has earned multiple professional designations and offers to the classroom his experience and talented communication skills. Ron also serves as liaison/ambassador within the National Association of Auctioneers and is a past president of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association.

Successful Auctioneers know that time spent building relationships is time well invested. Murray, with the Kentucky Auction Academy's team of instructors, looks forward to showing you how investing yourself in your clients will result in earning their confidence and trust. Murray brings a different background to the Academy as a 23-year veteran of weekly public speaking in pastoral ministry. He believes the greatest similarity between auctioneers and pastors is not talking in front of people; but taking care of people.

Murray graduated from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana in 1985 and received his Master's Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990. He is just as proud, if not more so, of his graduation from The World Wide College of Auctioneering in 2005 and acquiring his CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) designation in 2015. He has worked auctions in California, Oregon, Indiana, Colorado, South Carolina, Ohio and Kentucky featuring autos, heavy equipment, firearms, real estate, personal property and consignments, but his real passion and main area of expertise is Benefit Auctions. Students will learn more about this exciting and continually evolving area of the auction industry during their time at the Academy. With daily practice, attention to clarity, diction, rhythm, poise and microphone finesse, and continuing to compete, Murray hopes to be an IAC champion auctioneer in the near future.

With a degree in Secondary Education concentrated in Mathematics and French, Gretchen has always had a love of teaching and learning. Since leaving the classroom for a career in real estate, she has utilized her skills to help expand the Progressive Real Estate Group, the Progressive Auction Group, the Progressive Commercial Group and the Progressive Property Management Group.

As the real estate market has continued to change, the necessity for each division to modify and adhere to changes has become critical. The Auction market is no different. Technology has become a key component to survival and additionally has made many tasks easier. Gretchen has trained and consulted with the Progressive Auction Group and the Kentucky Auction Academy in using the software program Auction Flex. This program allows for streamline recording and reliable accounting, and can assist the Auctioneer in providing better service for clients.

Gretchen has been a successful licensed agent since 1992 and uses those experiences along with her classroom talents to make the learning of a new skill easy and relaxed.

He also graduated from the Kentucky Auction Academy. Travis has been a resident of south central KY since 1993. Travis and his lovely wife, Tiffany have four children. Russell began his auctioneer and Real Estate career in 1995 under the instruction of longtime Auctioneer Bud Greenup after attending Missouri Auctioneer School and Western KY University Real Estate training. Russell is licensed in KY, TN, IN. He is a member of Professional Associates such as the National Auctioneer Association, Kentucky Auctioneer Association, Tennessee Auctioneer Association, National Association of Realtors, Kentucky Association of Realtors, and the Scottsville Allen County Chamber of Commerce. Russell has also won numerous awards for auction advertising over the past several years. Russell is the 2014 Kentucky Auctioneer of the Year. He is currently serving as Past President of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association. Russell has conducted several successful auctions throughout KY and TN for numerous Estates, Individuals, Government Agencies and Lending Institutions such as; State of KY, City of Scottsville, Allen County, Allen County Sheriffs Dept., KY Dept. of Fish & Wildlife, Allen Co. Board of Education, KY Dept. of Parks and Recreation, Farm Credit Services, Farmers National Bank, and South Central Bank. Amy Wright is the founder and owner of reSettled Life; a decluttering, downsizing, relocation and professional auction company. reSettled Life is the only certified, full-service move management company specializing in Baby Boomers and their parents in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. She is a Certified Move Manger and a licensed, professional Principal Auctioneer, making her one of less than 200 female auctioneers out of over 2000 auctioneers total, in the state of Kentucky. Amy is a member of the Kentucky Auctioneer Association and the National Auctioneer Association. She is also a member of NASMM, the National Association of Senior Move Managers, the only accredited association for the senior move industry. She is a 2002 graduate of NKU and 2016 graduate of Kentucky Auction Academy, where she is presently an instructor. Amy is a committee member for the Arthritis Foundation and the Safe Aging Coalition of NKY, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Cancer Support Community in Blue Ash, OH and an Executive Board Member for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. She is married to her husband Steve and mom of 3.
